About
Overview
Aliasghar Bahoo-Torodi is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). His research interests include strategic management of human capital, employee mobility, and entrepreneurship. In particular, in his first research stream, he examines the drivers and consequences of employee inter-firm mobility and employee entrepreneurship in high-technology contexts. As part of his second research stream, he explores how the pre-entry experience of founders in employment, academic, or user settings impacts the entry behaviour, post-entry strategies, and performance of startups in nascent markets.
At Bayes, Dr. Bahoo-Torodi leads New Product Development and Problem Solving for Early-stage Companies modules within the MSc in Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the faculty of Management at Bayes in October 2022, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University in Finland and Bocconi University in Italy.
