Coaching
Coaching to maximise your potential
Coaching can enhance the single most important asset in your organisation – your people.
At CCE, we understand how effective coaching can help you to address the challenges you face as a leader of a nonprofit organisation. Successful organisations depend upon people working effectively together. Senior leaders and rising talent within organisations are expected to ensure that the organisation continues to innovate and meets the goals and expectations of beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
Through high quality, tailored coaching CCE helps nonprofit leaders to gain clarity about their own and their organisation’s choices and goals, and to determine how to achieve those goals in ways that are sustainable and impactful.
All our experienced coaches have a deep knowledge and understanding of the nonprofit sector. They are committed to the importance of coaching as a key part of leadership development in the sector and they bring this alive through their individual styles and approaches.
The coaching has already made a huge impact on me – resulting in the development of strategic action plans to effectively take Mosaic forward in a more sustainable direction. My CCE coach was just amazing – can’t praise her enough!

How we can help
CCE coaches can support you with:
- Identifying ways to maximise your own and your organisation’s potential
- Determining how you can help support your organisation’s senior leaders and talent pool to improve their performance and leadership styles
- Making clear choices when confronted with the challenges and decisions you face – particularly in the current challenging times
The choice of coach
The focus of all coaching is enabling individuals make choices and that process starts at the point of determining the coach they choose to work with. To this end we will offer the opportunity for the individual to talk to two or three of our coaches to decide who they feel with be the strongest “fit”.
The coaching process
The nature and structure of each coaching engagement is bespoke and tailored to reflect individual needs and choices. The duration of coaching engagement will reflect the scale and scope behind the need for the coaching. We usually recommend an arc of around six sessions over several months, with some possible email or phone support between sessions where appropriate. Each coaching session usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes and we will often recommend one slightly longer session involving the coachee’s line manager or board chair in order to gain more feedback and insight on goals and outcomes.
Diagnosis and goal definition
The CCE coach will work with the client to discuss and identify the context and goals for their proposed coaching. Together, they will explore the benefits of coaching to the individual and the organisation to determine the anticipated return on the time and investment.
Review, evaluation and forward action planning
Progress towards goals and outcomes is tracked throughout the coaching. Towards the end of the process, time is spent reviewing progress against goals, reflecting on the coaching process and determining on-going action plans.
I couldn’t stop feeling elated after my session. I cannot remember when I last had such a positive relaxing 1-1 when I could share all my thoughts and ideas without any inhibitions.
