Join us in Greece on 7th–9th June 2023 for the Finance and Business Analytics Conference and experience three days of learning and networking.
Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow and Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) of City, University of London will be hosting their first joint conference in the Ionian island of Lefkada, Greece, in cooperation with the Department of Regional Development of the Ionian University.

7th–9th June 2023, Ionian Blue Hotel, Nikiana, 31100 Lefkada, Greece.
Participants can benefit from a reduced rate of €140 for a double room, plus €4 of accommodation tax, with breakfast for the duration of the conference. Please contact the reception desk of Ionian Blue Hotel at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the necessary information for the booking.
The nearest airport is Aktion (https://www.pvk-airport.gr/el), 31 km from Ionian Blue Hotel. The island is connected by bridge to mainland Greece and is accessible from all major cities via public transport.
Extended abstract submission

Each abstract should contain:
- Authors and their full affiliations (presenter indicated in boldface)
The deadline for extended abstract submission: tbc.
Authors will be informed of the outcome of their submission by tbc.
The conference organizers, in liaison with the editors of the International Journal of Finance, will invite the authors of selected high-quality papers that fall within the general remit of the journal to submit their manuscripts to it. The editors will ensure that the selected papers undergo the normal reviewing process on a fast-track basis.

Register by purchasing a “Registration Ticket”:
- Early bird rate: £350 (Payable by 28th February 2023)
- Standard rate: £450 (Payable after 28th February 2023)
- Student rate: £300
The fee includes refreshments, lunches (two days), and the conference gala dinner – further updates to follow.
Accompanying person rate: £150 (this fee is intended for the person who wants to accompany a participant to the conference gala dinner but will not participate in the scientific programme). If this applies to you, please get in touch via FBA2023@city.ac.uk clearly stating the case in the email subject and you will receive further instructions on how to proceed.
The deadline for registration to present accepted research works is 1st May 2023.
All participants, including presenters, are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
For a paper to be listed in the conference programme, payment from at least one author is required by 1st May 2023. Participants who withdraw before 1st May 2023 will be refunded, subject to a cancellation fee of £150. Participants who cancel after 1st May 2023 will not receive a refund.
