Design Sparks is operated by the National Centre for Creativity enabled by AI (CebAI), a business centre at the Bayes Business School of City, University of London, Northampton Square, London, EC1V 0HB UK.

CebAI operates the Design Sparks website, referred to in this notice as the “Service”.

CebAI is the data controller of personal information collected through, and used on, the Service.

Retaining the information

CebAI retains personal information it collects from you where there is an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with access to the Service, or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, CebAI will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then CebAI will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We use session cookies within Design Sparks™ products. Session cookies allow users to be recognised within Design Sparks™ so any page changes or item or data selection you do is remembered from page to page. We store settings for a query, such as language, time filter, and sort by filter. This data is not shared with Third Parties. These need to be accepted by the user for the application to work properly.

Our Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. You have the right to receive the personal data Design Sparks holds in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from Design Sparks.

If you have a concern about the way your personal information is handled, you are entitled to lodge a concern with a supervisory authority. In the UK, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
