e fifth year running in the QS Best Cities Ranking 2024.
The rankings look at the quality of universities, affordability and employer activity, and also considers what current and past students think of the city.
Student life in London is buzzing with possibilities, with easy access to the very best in culture, history and entertainment. It’s also home to many of the world’s top employers, in sectors like finance, management and fin tech.
Is this what makes it such an appealing destination for students from all over the world?
For Full-time MBA alum Sarah Walker (pictured right), the capital’s mix of professional opportunities and cultural diversity, were the main attractions.
“I think it is such a cool place to live, a centre where things are happening. It’s like the door to the rest of the world,” she says.
Sarah, a US-born government consultant, spent six years working for the
state of Virginia. After making the decision to change career and pursue an MBA, she relocated to London for her studies.
