What motivated you to study MSc Corporate Finance at Bayes Business School?

Coming from a BA (Hons) programme in Financial Services, I had a solid foundation in corporate finance, and I wanted to delve deeper into the world of ECM (Equity Capital Markets) and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions). I was ready to learn and gain practical experience through my master’s programme.  I chose to study MSc Corporate Finance at Bayes Business School because of its global ranking in finance and the opportunity it offered to build a network in the city.

How did you find the course?

I enjoyed my experience on the course. The classes taught by Dr Sonia Falconieri, Dr Nick Motson, and Dr Dirk Nitzsche were particularly engaging and informative. Their expertise and passion for the subject made the learning experience truly valuable.

How did your master’s have an impact on your career?

My master’s degree played a vital role in kick-starting my career. While studying for my final exams, I secured my first role in equity sales. After that, the reputation of Bayes Business School helped me transitioning to consulting and, more recently, to the intelligence world. I had regular interactions with the Postgraduate Careers Team. They were helpful with my CV, cover letters, and interview preparations.
