With more than 50 full-time staff, our Faculty of Finance is one of the largest and most respected in the world. It draws together some of the world’s leading academics, industry experts and thought-leaders, along with the brightest young minds, to bring new perspectives to existing thinking and develop practical solutions to real-world issues.
Bayes is home to academics with research expertise in the key areas of finance, including accounting, asset pricing, corporate finance, financial markets, regulation, international finance and shipping finance. Insurance
One of the leading academic insurance and actuarial departments in the world, our Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance is ranked 1st in Europe and 2nd in the world for Actuarial Science Research.
The Faculty has a long and prestigious history, having introduced a pioneering degree in Actuarial Science, with the support of insurance companies and the actuarial profession.
Today we maximise our position close to the heart of the City of London, providing a hub of activity for the insurance profession, hosting events and conferences with internationally renowned speakers through our close relationships with professional bodies and trade organisations.
