Academic experts teaching on Bayes Executive Education

Professor Cliff Oswick

Cliff joined the Business School (formerly Cass) in 2011 as a Professor in Organization Theory. He also served as Head of the Faculty of Management and Deputy Dean at Bayes between January 2011 and January 2016.

Cliff’s research focuses on the application of aspects of discourse, dramaturgy, tropes, narrative and rhetoric to the study of organizations and organizing. He is particularly interested in the study of leadership processes, employee engagement, and organizational change. He has published over 120 academic articles and contributions to edited volumes, including contributions to Academy of Management Review, Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies, British Journal of Management, Organization, and Organization Studies.

Beyond his academic responsibilities, Cliff has also undertaken a variety of consultancy projects, senior coaching activities and executive development assignments with a number of high profile corporate clients. Read more about Cliff.

Professor Paolo Volpin

Paolo is Professor of Finance and Head of the Faculty of Finance at Bayes Business School. He is a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and a Research Associate of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Prior to joining Bayes, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at London Business School.

He has published on the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Economic Perspectives and other journals. His research in corporate finance, especially in the field of corporate governance, has won several awards. He holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. Read more about Paolo.
