Academic experts teaching on Bayes Executive Education
Professor Cliff Oswick
Cliff joined the Business School (formerly Cass) in 2011 as a Professor in Organization Theory. He also served as Head of the Faculty of Management and Deputy Dean at Bayes between January 2011 and January 2016.
Cliff’s research focuses on the application of aspects of discourse, dramaturgy, tropes, narrative and rhetoric to the study of organizations and organizing. He is particularly interested in the study of leadership processes, employee engagement, and organizational change. He has published over 120 academic articles and contributions to edited volumes, including contributions to Academy of Management Review, Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies, British Journal of Management, Organization, and Organization Studies.
Beyond his academic responsibilities, Cliff has also undertaken a variety of consultancy projects, senior coaching activities and executive development assignments with a number of high profile corporate clients. Read more about Cliff.
Professor Laure Cabantous
Professor Cabantous holds a PhD in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics (France). Prior to being a Professor of Strategy and Organisation at Bayes Business School, she worked at Warwick Business School, ESCP Europe and Nottingham University Business School.
Laure has a long-lasting interest in decision-making processes, both at the individual and organisational levels, and for the management of risk and uncertainty. She has studied how insurers make decisions under conflicting and consensual ambiguity; how decision analysts help managers take decisions; and how models support decision-making. Angela Tennent
Angela is a visiting associate of Bayes Business School and Managing Director of Elevation Learning. She has over twenty years experience as a learning and development consultant and has delivered training in all areas of consultancy skills, performance improvement and business development, working with clients in a wide range of industry sectors in the UK and internationally.
Her background is in finance, starting her career at Deloitte where she managed the firms National Leadership and Development Programme for managers up to partnership. She co-founded Corporate Edge a business training consultancy in 1996.
Angela is a Chartered Accountant, member of the CIPD and Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.
