Bayes Executive MBA climbs 14 places globally in Financial Times ranking

Business School named inside world’s top 40 EMBA programmes according to latest ranking.

Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) has risen 14 places globally to rank 40th in the world in the Financial Times Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2023.

The annual ranking assesses global business schools using metrics such as career progression, diversity, and quality of teaching. It has also introduced a new measurement for carbon footprint this year, rewarding business education that is environmentally sustainable.

This year’s results see Bayes maintain its position as 6th in the UK and climb two places to 2nd in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Professor Costas Andriopoulos, Associate Dean, MBA Programmes at Bayes, said:

“This is an encouraging result that reflects the strides we have made to improve and increase our executive offering, which is particularly recognised in strong scores for alumni salary increases and the diversity of our students and faculty.

“The Executive MBA at Bayes Business School allows participants to study around existing professional commitments with flexibility, and allows them to tailor courses to their own career aspirations.”

Professor André Spicer, Dean of Bayes Business School, said:

“This year’s Financial Times ranking is testament to the work of our leading faculty here at Bayes and an endorsement of improvements we have made in the structure and teaching of our Executive MBA courses.

“Executive MBA education forms a very important part of our offering as a business school, and we look forward to enhancing this area further for businesses and talented leaders.”

Bayes Executive MBA courses are delivered part-time across two years to allow students to tailor their programme to suit personal needs. Courses are designed for those who want to combine their career with evening or weekend study and are looking to take the next step, whether this means progressing in seniority, enhancing strategic leadership skills or preparing for c-suite level roles.

The Financial Times ranking is reflective of the experience of Executive MBA alumni in the three years following graduation.
