Centre for Creativity enabled by AI, Numbers Studio and CityVentures announce ambitious new venture builder programme

10-week sprint is designed to engage post-grad students to create a new venture proposal to commercialise CebAI technology

The National Centre for Creativity enabled by AI (CebAI, pr: see-bay) has joined forces with City, University of London’s CityVentures, the dedicated student business incubator, and Numbers Studio, a business consultancy that specialises in developing successful university spinouts, to create the CebAI x CityVentures programme.

The 10-week sprint is designed to engage post-grad business and tech students to create a new venture proposal to commercialise CebAI technology through products or services related to Professional Financial Services firms. Over the course of the sprint, the hand-picked start-up team will conduct detailed target sector and customer research and analysis to come up with a robust market-ready proposition to take to early-stage investors.

Sam Steele, Managing Director of CebAI at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), said: “It is exciting to be able to leverage the resources of both the University and independent experts to come up with new routes to market for applied research. CityVentures is a supportive and dynamic resource that can help our start-up team navigate the next 10 weeks. And the Numbers team have deep experience in successfully crafting robust business propositions to attract investment for university start-ups and deliver impact.”

Ralph La Fontaine, Head of Entrepreneurship at CityVentures, said: “CityVentures is excited to be collaborating with CebAI and Numbers to support this new venture builder programme. This is an important innovation and new capability at City, University of London, where there is huge potential for the commercialisation of university technology through student and alumni entrepreneurship.”

Stephen Hampson, Director at Numbers Studio, added: "This collaboration presents a unique opportunity to foster entrepreneurship and deliver impactful results. With our expertise in developing successful university spinouts, we look forward to guiding the start-up team in crafting compelling business propositions that resonate with investors and drive the adoption of CebAI technology in the Professional Services sector."
