Course: BSc Business Management

What were you doing before you came to study at City?

I was doing my foundation year in Business and Economics with Accounting at INTO City, which really helped me to gain a broad understanding about the core modules I am studying now, during my first year.

Why did you decide to apply to study at City, University of London?

Before I graduated from high school, I knew I wanted to study something related to management. My research narrowed down to the best business schools in London. That was when I found out about the Business School (formerly Cass). After comparing different universities, I realised City really had what I was looking for, such as recognition, diversity in backgrounds and cultures, a wide selection of modules and a convenient location.

What is your favourite thing about studying at City?

My favourite thing is the modules. I am fascinated about how the subjects change each semester but remain connected to the course module. The content of modules that City provides are filled with useful information that I know I will apply anytime, soon in my professional field, daily.

What kind of things are you involved in outside of your course?

I am a Marketing Student Ambassador, providing prospective students with useful information about the course they are interested in and life at City. I am also part of a hospitality company, where I work on a part-time basis.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I have several options in my mind. I would like to do a master’s in a course related to international business, or a further study in psychology and sociology, which I have been intrigued in for a while now. I would also like stay in London and apply for jobs that might be suitable to my academic field.
