I am from the capital of Jordan, Amman where I completed the International Baccalaureate before coming to study at City.

Why did you decide to apply to study at City, University of London?

I applied to study at City as it is known to be one of the top ranked universities in London specialising in business. City offers distinct majors, specifically designed help students become more employable and benefit from the opportunities London can offer. After an extensive research, I realised City was the only university that offered the aspect of business I am most interested in.

What is your favourite thing about studying at City?

City is a great university. It offers interesting events that inspire students to get involved and has a friendly environment that makes me want to spend long time on campus. On campus there are several coffee shops and seating areas that allow each student to study and chill. Staff are also friendly and make students feel comfortable to ask for help.

What kind of things are you involved in outside of your course?

I am part of the City Wolfpack and the Tennis Team. We practice each week at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. This gives me the opportunity to persue my hobby and connect with other students from different schools.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I would like to have a job in a technology company using the knowledge and skills I got on the course. Once I have gained enough experience from the academia and the industry, I would like to open my own business.
