Clubs and societies

While you will be making strong connections with your classmates and gaining a solid academic understanding of business, the extracurricular clubs and societies are not to be missed. The networks that you grow and cultivate outside the classroom will accelerate your career development. At Bayes Business School, we have over 30 clubs and societies where students and alumni exchange knowledge and experience, and discuss industry trends and business opportunities.

There are openings for leadership roles within the current societies as well as the opportunity of setting up new ones. Full-time MBA student Clarice created the Black in Business at Bayes Society.

I decided to create the Black in Business at Bayes Society because the reality is that racial inequality still exists in today's business world. The goal of the society is to increase the representation of and advance Black professionals in the business world through social, cultural, professional activities and events starting right here at Bayes. – Clarice Metzger FTMBA 2022

Other clubs and societies which have run across the past few years include:

  • Actuarial, Insurance, Risk and Quant Society
  • Consultancy Society
  • Entrepreneurs Network
  • Shipping Society
  • Women in Business
  • Chinese Careers Society
  • Executive MBA Club
  • M&A/Private Equity Club
  • Real Estate Club
  • Strategy Society
