Clubs and societies
While you will be making strong connections with your classmates and gaining a solid academic understanding of business, the extracurricular clubs and societies are not to be missed. The networks that you grow and cultivate outside the classroom will accelerate your career development. At Bayes Business School, we have over 30 clubs and societies where students and alumni exchange knowledge and experience, and discuss industry trends and business opportunities.
There are openings for leadership roles within the current societies as well as the opportunity of setting up new ones. Full-time MBA student Lina sought out a presidency to support her future career.
I was selected as President of the Women in Business Society as I looked to focus on extracurricular activities as well as use the platform to expand my network and take on a leadership role for the first time. – Lina Rahmanian FTMBA 2019
MBA Expeditionary Society
A key society which was founded in 2017 is the Bayes MBA Expeditionary Society (XPS) which includes current MBA and EMBA students and alumni who share a passion for stretch experiences in their leadership development. At Bayes we believe an explorer’s mindset will offer a unique advantage in the next decade and beyond, when impactful leaders will be called to build highly engaged and aligned teams. This society helps to cement this explorer’s mindset by developing a leadership agenda, global expeditions and fundraising for scholarships. You can find out more about the Bayes MBA Expeditionary Society on our clubs and societies pages.
