Full-time MBA awards and scholarships

Bayes Business School offers a range of financial awards and scholarships to talented individuals with a strong potential for career advancement.

Awards

Awards are offered to candidates who can show clear academic or professional merit through their application and interview.  Candidates also need to demonstrate potential for future success.

You will be automatically considered for a financial award once you have submitted a complete application to the Full-time MBA.

Awards are up to 30% of the tuition fees and are offered on a rolling basis (subject to availability).

Bayes High Potential award

Open to candidates who have clear professional merit and can demonstrate their potential to contribute to all aspects of the MBA programme

Amount Awarded: Up to 30% towards the cost of tuition fees.

Entrepreneurship award

Open to successful MBA applicants who have set up or have been working in an entrepreneurial venture and/or those who plan to after the MBA

Amount Awarded: Up to 30% towards the cost of tuition fees.

MBA Scholarships

Scholarships for the September 2025 intake are now open. To be considered you must complete the additional scholarship essays questions included in the Full-time MBA application form.

Please note, The Global Women's Leadership Scholarship follows a separate application process which can be found below.

Scholarships are of variable amounts and are awarded to exceptional candidates who demonstrate the passion and drive to lead and make a positive impact in today's diverse business environment. Recipients are expected to act as Bayes Ambassadors, committed to developing the ongoing success of the MBA Programme working closely with Marketing, Careers, Course Office, Alumni, and the Recruitment & Admissions Team.

We strongly encourage you to apply early during the year as the process of selection is competitive and funds are limited.

If you receive a Bayes scholarship this would supersede an award.

Criteria

  • When submitting your scholarship essays, please ensure that your Full-time MBA programme application is also complete including GMAT/GRE and an English language test (if required). Refer to the admissions pages to ensure there are no outstanding components to your Full-time MBA programme application.
  • Scholarships or awards will be deducted from the second fee instalment in January.
  • A maximum of one scholarship or award will be awarded per candidate.
  • You don’t need to specify which scholarship you wish to apply for as the Scholarship committee will consider which would be most suitable.
  • If you are eligible for a City or University of London Graduate discount and you are selected for a financial award or scholarship for a higher amount, the award or scholarship will supersede the discount.
  • Candidates who have already applied for a scholarship in the 2025 intake and were unsuccessful will not be eligible to submit a further application.

Academic Distinction Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Variable % towards the cost of tuition fees.

Open to candidates who have achieved a high, well balanced GMAT or GRE score and can demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

Bayes Business School Impact Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Variable % towards the cost of tuition fees.

At Bayes we look to bring together people from all backgrounds to share their voices and unique viewpoints. We give them the tools and inspiration to drive change in their lives but also in world around them. We have created this scholarship, aimed at high-performing, diverse talent, from non-traditional backgrounds and sectors.

Bayes Business School Latin America Scholarship

Amount Awarded: 60% towards the cost of tuition fees.

We are delighted to offer three scholarships for the Latin America region. Open to all candidates who demonstrate excellent professional/managerial experience.

This scholarship aims to empower talented individuals to become change-makers in the global business landscape, driving innovation and sustainable growth in the region and beyond.

Eligible nationalities: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Bayes Business School Women's Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Variable % towards the cost of tuition fees.

Open to candidates who demonstrate outstanding achievement to date and show the potential to achieve great success during and after the Bayes Business School MBA. The aim of the scholarship is to support candidates of exceptional merit.

Military Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Variable % towards the cost of tuition fees.

Available to all successful Full-time MBA candidates who have previously held a full-time military role. This scholarship recognises the unique skills and experiences brought by military service and supports transitioning service members and veterans as they prepare for impactful roles in the broader economy. Eligible applicants must demonstrate their military experience and articulate how their service background will enhance their MBA journey and contributions in the global business landscape.

Professional Excellence Scholarship

Amount Awarded: Variable % towards the cost of tuition fees.

Open to candidates who have clear professional merit and can demonstrate their potential to contribute to all aspects of the MBA programme.

Global Women's Leadership Scholarship

Bayes Business School is delighted to announce the Global Women’s Leadership Programme – an innovative initiative designed to attract and nurture rising women leaders. The partnership will support an MBA scholar with exceptional potential to lead global women’s leadership development efforts. The scholarship recipient will be drawn from Bayes MBA programs in London.

Serving as a leader within their respective program, the Scholar will develop and practice their leadership skills by coordinating leadership development events.  Such events will include Rising Women Leaders Development Workshops for MBA students and Women’s Executive Leadership Forums for alumni and corporate partners. The events programme will span across London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Beijing and New York.

Amount Awarded: 50% towards the cost of tuition fees.

COLFUTURO

Bayes Business School has a joint agreement with COLFUTURO in order to support Full-time MBA studies for strong applicants from Colombia.

Up to three Colombian candidates who successfully receive an unconditional offer from Bayes and are accepted as a beneficiary of COLFUTURO will receive a 20% fee scholarship from Bayes.

Chevening Scholarship

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations.

The scheme is aimed at developing global leaders and is made up of two types of award: Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships. The recipients are personally selected by British embassies and high commissions throughout the world.

Chevening offers a unique opportunity for future leaders and influencers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.

To become a candidate for this scholarship you will need to apply online through the Chevening website.

The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation Entrepreneurship Scholarship

The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation (www.Stelios.org) has pledged £10,000 to Bayes Business School as a scholarship for a student studying on the Full-time MBA Programme. The Stelios Scholar will be a self-funded candidate who has set up or has been working in entrepreneurial ventures, or a candidate who plans to do so post programme. The Scholar will attend School and external events during the academic year to recognise the support of The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, and will be asked to write a reflective report at the end of their MBA to show how the programme will support their long term goals.

Aimed at: all self-funded candidates who have set up or have been working in entrepreneurial ventures, or those who plan to post programme.

Criteria: all applicants who have applied to the Full-time MBA programme and have successfully been offered a place on the programme.

How to apply: In order to be considered, please submit your complete application (including references and confirmed GMAT/GRE and English language test scores, if applicable) before end of April 2025 (exact deadline TBC).  All eligible candidates will then be considered for this scholarship by the Scholarship Panel after this date.

African Innovators Scholarship

Amount Awarded: 50% towards the cost of tuition fees.

This scholarship aims to empower talented individuals to become change-makers in the global business landscape, driving innovation and sustainable growth in the region and beyond.

Open to nationals of African countries and/or those domiciled in Africa.
