Bayes Modular Executive MBA Class of 2025
In March we welcomed the latest cohort of the Modular Executive MBA to Bayes.
Reflecting London’s status as one of the most cosmopolitan cities on the planet, the group consists of 15 different nationalities based in London, the wider UK, Europe and beyond. They will primarily be based at our new MBA teaching facility in Finsbury Square, for their in person teaching over the next two years.
Every year we work very hard to build a diverse group of students, in terms of gender, nationality, industry and role, that can bring their experiences to bear in the extensive group work involved on the Modular EMBA. This year is no exception, as we welcome a highly diverse group of senior executives from a wide variety of organisations including Accor Hotels, KPMG, McDonalds, Aon, Aircall, HCA Healthcare, and the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance to name a few.
A quarter of the class are based outside of the UK, making full use of Bayes’ close proximity to the new Elizabeth Line in London and its easy connectivity to Heathrow and London City airports. Most of the class are based in London and the UK, although a handful of students will be flying in from cities including Istanbul, Amman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The entire cohort will also be flying out of London, during their studies, for their International Consultancy Week and choice of International Elective.
We are always keen to welcome strong Modular EMBA applications from women and are very proud of the work our Women’s Leadership Programme does at Bayes. This year over a third of the group are female.

What attracted you to Bayes and the Modular EMBA?
A key factor was the location of the campus in the City of London. The location was important for me as I was looking for a course with a lot of face to face interactions whilst being able to accommodate a full time job, which is exactly what the Modular EMBA provides.
The fantastic selection of electives (including international ones) was another very important factor. Furthermore, I was looking for a business school with internationally recognisable accreditation, as this is an indicator of the quality of their education programme. The fact that Bayes is triple accredited was something that I definitely took into consideration.
Last but not least, a key reason that made me choose Bayes was the positive culture that seeps throughout the organisation and which I experienced first-hand throughout the entire application process with many interactions with enthusiastic and friendly staff members.
What do you hope to gain from the Modular EMBA?
I wish to understand the financial side of a business and what drives key decisions and strategic choices. Furthermore, I see an MBA as a key enabler to unlock future opportunities on my very ambitious path to Chief Technology Officer of a global medical device company.
What aspects of the Modular EMBA are you most looking forward to?
The international electives! I cannot wait.

What attracted you to Bayes and the Modular EMBA?
Apart from Bayes Business School already being a world-class institution, the part-time structure and the once-a-month meetups in London were particularly appealing to me. These features allow me to continue my professional career without making significant changes or sacrifices in terms of location.
This combination of flexibility and high-quality education was a major factor in my decision to pursue the MEMBA programme.
What do you hope to gain from the Modular EMBA?
During the programme, I aspire to develop a global vision and enhance my understanding of international finance. I believe that the best way to achieve these goals is by being part of a prestigious international school and a diverse cohort, which will expose me to various perspectives and ideas from around the world.

What do you hope to gain from the Modular EMBA?
My aim is to strengthen my critical thinking when facing various issues in an organisation. In each module, we're learning about different tools and theories and how they are used in various business cases.
The assignments are pushing us to use our learned tools independently, and it's already helping me develop critical thinking skills.
What are your strategies for managing work and study commitments?
I get the most out of the study materials when I break them down and read or watch them with my full attention.
I dedicate a portion of my day to reading and viewing materials before or after work. I try to not do it between my working hours, including my lunch break or commute. I take in more information if I'm not trying to do too many things at once. It's better to study for 1-2 hours each day than cramming for 6 hours all at once.
