  • Who attends Bayes Executive Education programmes?

Our world-class management development programmes help organisations and the individuals inside them achieve their potential. We design our programmes to reflect real business needs. These programmes bring together participants from across industry sectors and disciplines.

  • What will I gain by attending a Bayes Executive Education programme?

Our Open programmes are designed to equip individuals and organisations with the understanding, skills and confidence to address today’s pressing business issues. To respond to change, every business needs to be agile, flexible and innovative. And business leaders need the skills to make the right decisions, to drive their organisation and to inspire their people. To help you meet these demands we design learning solutions that are flexible, accessible, personalised and relevant to you and your organisation. An overview of the specific outcomes and benefits of each programme are available on the respective programme pages.

  • Is work experience required?

Work experience is required for all our programmes. Our programmes attract participants ranging from those with a minimum of five years work experience to those in senior and executive positions.

  • Is there a qualification at the end of the programme?

The programmes are not credit bearing. There is no formal academic qualification, although participants will receive a certificate of achievement for each executive education programme completed. Our flexible approach to development means that you can mix and match our one to five-day programmes to focus on the key areas most critical to you. Participants who complete 15 days of Open Programmes will gain Bayes Executive Education alumni status.

  • Are there any exams?

No, the programmes are not assessed. Some programmes, however, have projects and/or assignments to submit in order to successfully complete the programme.

  • How much self-study/work is there?

Participants are expected to ensure they are free from all other commitments during the programmes. The daily schedule includes lectures, group work and discussions, as well as review and preparation sessions. Formal sessions start at 9.00 am each day and there may be work scheduled for the evenings.

Fees and sponsorship

  • What are the programme fees?

Our Open Programmes vary in duration and tuition range from £995 to £8,000 per programme. The tuition fee includes all meals, refreshments and programme materials. However, delegates are responsible for organising their own accommodation and transportation for the duration of the programme.

  • Do I have to be sponsored by my employer?

Learning acquired from our programmes will enhance your current and future roles. Therefore, many organisations sponsor their employees to attend executive programmes. However, you do not have to be sponsored by your employer to apply for a place on Bayes Executive Education programmes.

  • Are there any scholarships available?

Payment, cancellation, transfer and postponement

  • What are the terms and conditions?

In order to be considered for a programme, all participants must complete the online application form. You may request a printed application form by writing to execed-open@city.ac.uk. When completing an application form, you will have to read our terms and conditions. These become binding once the formal offer to attend has been offered by us and accepted by or on behalf of participant.

  • Can I cancel or transfer my place to a different iteration?

All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to execed-open@city.ac.uk. All requests will be effective from the date of receipt. Any transfer or cancellation requests received less than 28 calendar days before the programme start date will incur either a cancellation or transfer charge and an administration fee.

  • If I am not able to attend, can someone else come in my place?

A substitute candidate may attend at no additional cost up to 5 working days prior to the programme start date. All substitutions must be confirmed in writing to execed-open@city.ac.uk. All substitutions will be effective from the date of receipt.

  • When and how do I pay?

Payment must be made in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) within 30 calendar days from invoice issue date or prior to the programme start date (whichever comes first). Bayes Business School reserves the right to refuse participation if payment of the invoiced programme fee has not been completed in full. Payment can be made by BACS, credit card or on the e-store.

  • What if a programme is cancelled or changed?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a programme, delegates will be entitled to a full refund of their programme fee. We will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the programme as described in the brochure and on the Bayes Business School website. However, the School must manage its resources efficiently and shall be entitled to alter the timetable, location, number of classes and method of delivery of the programme; and make reasonable variations to the content and syllabus of the programme where and when appropriate.

The terms and conditions listed above are not exhaustive. View our full terms and conditions(pdf)
