Sophie Cubbin
Head of Communications and Events
Sophie is City's Head of Communications and Events. She is responsible for leading City’s external communication, stakeholder and influencer activities. This includes media relations, corporate and academic events, stakeholder engagement, internal communications and local community engagement activities. A former broadcast journalist, Sophie was appointed PR & Communications Manager at the University in 2014 and was promoted to Head of Communications and Events in 2020.
