Bayes Business School’s home in Dubai achieves highest rating in international higher education ranking

Centre is the only institution to receive prestigious five star plus rating

Bayes Business School’s home in the MENA region has achieved the highest rating in the 2022 Rating of International Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Dubai, as compiled by the academic regulator, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Bayes offers an Executive MBA in Dubai, part of City, University of London’s campus there.

The Programme was cited in the ‘Programme Strength’ category in City’s submission and was rated five stars (192 points out of 200). Maximum scores were achieved on: ‘Student Satisfaction with programme of study’, ‘Internationally recognised accreditations’, ‘Graduate employment rate’ and ‘Faculty student ratio’.

City received the highest rating of all of the 17 KHDA-rated HEIs in Dubai and is the only of those HEIs to achieve a five star plus rating (with a point total of 914 out of a possible 1000).

The KHDA described the University as offering “a world-class standard of education, with a global reputation and highly regarded international research and teaching standards. Graduates are sought after by employers.”

Dr Kevin Dunseath, Director of the Dubai Centre, said he was delighted to hear the news.

“This excellent result demonstrates the strong standing of City, University of London and its Bayes Business School in the MENA region and demonstrates the role that the Dubai Centre plays in the School’s reputation internationally.

“I would like to thank the staff of the Dubai Centre and our colleagues at our London campus, who support us.  Any success that the Dubai Centre achieves is testament to their hard work and constant support.”

This year’s Rating focused on environmental sustainability, together with the four core categories of Teaching, Research, Employability, and Internationalisation. Since it started in 2018, the Rating has given students and their parents the information and data they need to make decisions about their future and has also allowed universities to identify and showcase their international best practices.
