The Business School partners with Mayor of London to launch Recover & Grow

Six-week online course will help small businesses grow and thrive amid economic uncertainty

The Business School (formerly Cass) and the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, have launched Recover & Grow, a six-week online business leadership course for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The course is part of a new support package led by the London Business Hub which will help struggling small businesses survive the dual impacts of Covid-19 and Brexit.

Recover & Grow is a highly-interactive programme designed to help business leaders navigate through the complexities of the current economic climate.  It will be delivered by leading academics from the Business School, including experts in marketing, entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, leadership and digital strategy. As well as online tuition, it will also include business clinics and coaching and will prioritise peer-to-peer learning so participants can use their own businesses as case studies and receive feedback from peers, as well as Business School experts.

Professor Paolo Volpin, Dean of the Business School said:

“Businesses in the capital are facing huge uncertainty, both from the consequences of Covid-19, and preparing for the possibility of the UK failing to secure a deal with the EU by January 2021. Recover & Grow will help our vital local businesses grow, thrive and become more resilient during this difficult period.”
