Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) – Cass ceases face-to-face teaching with immediate effect

School will provide online resources to substitute for lectures and classes

From Monday 16th March 2020, face-to-face teaching at Cass Business School will be suspended for the rest of the academic year. The School will provide online resources to substitute for lectures and classes. Examinations planned for remainder of the academic year will not take place and will be replaced by alternative assessments.

This decision has been made as a result of the developing situation with the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the concerns it is causing for our community of students and staff and their families.

The School has confirmed this information with students and staff. Further information will follow early next week.  School and University buildings will still remain open for the time being.

We understand that students and staff may be worried about this news and ask that all members of the City community continue to support one another at this time.  We are taking steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors, based on public health advice.
