Cass Marketing Innovathon 2017

Cass Business School teamed up with Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco for the second successful edition of the Marketing Innovathon.

The aim of the Cass Marketing Innovathon is to develop a full marketing campaign for Colgate-Palmolive UK, leveraging the breadth of Tesco’s digital ecosystem.

In its second year, participants worked in groups to develop a campaign to “Keep Britain Smiling” with the help of mentors from Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco, and Cass Marketing Faculty.

The Marketing Innovathon is a unique opportunity for our students to test and improve their creative skills, learn from real industry experts, impact future marketing practices of Colgate and Tesco while also having fun and meeting fellow students from different programmes.

Dr Oguz Acar, Lecturer in Marketing

Thoughts from our students

“It was a great experience and I would recommend it to all future students. It was great what we achieved in shortest time and interesting to work with other students we did not know.“

“As a student from a non-marketing discipline it was a crash course in marketing. Having a hands-on experience with an embedded coach, I think, was the quickest way to get a feel for the discipline. I learnt a lot from the marketing students and from the experience as a whole."
