About
Overview
Victor is a PhD student at Bayes Business School. His focus is on entrepreneurial ecosystems and entrepreneur support processes. He is interested in exploring micro and nested entrepreneurial ecosystems, Minimum Viable Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (MVEE)s and Cross Ecosystem Resource Sharing (CERS). Through his research, he hopes to be able to inform current policy and provide innovative strategies to foster entrepreneurship in areas where it is most vital, catalyzing transformation within communities.
Victor started his entrepreneurial career in the early 1980’s and over the last several decades he has started, built, and sold a range of technology related companies. He holds seven technology patents and is now involved with R Cubed Group, a private equity fund investing in equities, fixed income, real estate, and strategic investments including early-stage companies.
Among other corporate and non-profit boards Mr. Schiller served on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) IDEAS Global Challenge Advisory Board. MIT IDEAS supports innovation and entrepreneurship as public service by connecting students with the passion and talent to improve the world with the experience and resources of the MIT community worldwide. Mr. Schiller also lectures, mentors and has done a TEDx talk on his social enterprise work at MIT.
