About
Overview
Johanna Järvelä is a PhD Fellow at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) in the Faculty of Management. Her research focuses on the interplay between private and public regulation in natural resource governance. She is especially interested in the role of state and politics, in corporate responsibility (CSR).
Johanna joined Bayes in September 2017 and she previously held a PhD Candidate position at the University of Helsinki. She holds a Master degree and Bachelors degree in Political Science (specializing in Development Studies, Political History and Anthropology) from University of Helsinki. She is a Fellow at the ETHOS Centre for Responsible Enterprise at Bayes, and in the Centre for Corporate Responsibility (CCR) in Helsinki.
