About
Overview
Jihun Bae joined the Faculty of Finance at Bayes Business School in 2024. He received his PhD in Accounting from the University of Hong Kong. Before joining Bayes, he worked at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tilburg University in the Netherlands. His research interests include empirical financial accounting focusing on corporate disclosures, executive compensation, and litigation. Jihun has published in academic journals such as Management Science, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and European Accounting Review. His teaching experience includes accounting and data analytics courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
