About
Overview
Anastasia Richmond is a Lecturer in Finance at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). Her research interests lie primarily in the area of corporate finance, both theoretical and empirical. Her current research topics are the real effects of financial derivatives (CDS and options), and the optimality and effectiveness of commitment devices in financial contracting (covenants, collateral and market tools). She is also actively researching on drivers of corporate social responsibility (CSR) with a focus on employee wellbeing.
Dr. Richmond holds a PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School, the University of Warwick, and an MSc in Mathematical Finance from Queen Mary University of London. In addition, she has extensive industry experience having worked as a Senior Credit Analyst and Project Manager for several major international banks.
Dr. Richmond has been teaching finance at the bachelor, master, and MBA levels.
