Overview
Allan Williams is a founder member of the Business School after spending three years developing innovative techniques in advertising and market research at Maplan. He is a former Pro-Vice Chancellor of City University (1987-93), Deputy Dean of Bayes (formerly Cass) (1996-2001), and has chaired or been a member of many committees of scientific and academic bodies (e.g.MRC,BPS,BAM,IAAP). Director of the Centre for Personnel Research and Enterprise Development (1978-98). He is a founder and liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants. Trustee of T.Ritchie Rodger Research Fund, & of City Centre for Charity Effectiveness Trust. Chair of Management History Research Group.
