About
Overview
Alexandros Skouralis is a Research Fellow in Real Estate & Finance at Bayes Business School, City, University of London. His research interests include real estate markets, systemic risk, climate risk, applied macroeconomics and financial stability. He is also one of the co-authors of the Real Estate Quarterly Monitor that provides some fresh insight into how European debt and capital markets are valuing financial instruments with real estate backing.
Alexandros holds a PhD in Economics from Lancaster University and a MSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Bristol. He joined Bayes in 2021 and up until September 2023 he was involved in the Commercial Real Estate Lending report that aims to increase transparency in commercial mortgage markets for regulators and investors. Before Bayes, he worked as a researcher at the Central Bank of Ireland and as a teaching assistant at Lancaster University.
