The 35th Anniversary of the Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance combined with The 9th City of London Biennial Meeting

This World is Changing

6th - 8th Nov 2019 - by invitation only

The Biennial Meeting, which provides a platform for dialogue between leading figures from the City of London and other capital cities, has become the major event of its kind in the calendar of the City of London.

The event is sponsored by the Maria Tsakos Foundation and as it is non-commercial, no fee is charged for attendance which is by invitation only. The delegates (numbering around 1000 over the three days) from the UK and overseas include policy makers, diplomats, leading businessmen, senior academics, of whom a large number of them are our graduates.

Among the subjects to be discussed over the three days include: World Economy; Banking and Finance; Energy and Commodities, Environment and Regulations; Shipping and Shipping Finance; Technology and Innovation and Trade. This year the speakers and chairmen are, as always, leading international personalities in their own sector. On this occasion we are also delighted to include our graduates who have distinguished themselves internationally; we are proud of them, as we are of all the graduates of the Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance.

Video of the Morning Session of Wednesday 6th November is now available.
