Research centres are a crucial link between theory and practice and play a key role in implementing our impact strategy. Our research centres are closely related to subject areas and reflect current research interests of our faculty. Key performance indicators for our research centres include (1) knowledge exchange with external stakeholders and end users of our research, (2) collaborative research projects with practitioners, and (3) grant applications and external research income.

Centres of excellence

The Costas Grammenos Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance (STF) facilitates international dialogue between industry, government and academic leaders, and undertakes applied research.
